Manhattan Swing Orchestra’s sophisticated and fun musical performances have provided memorable soundtracks to private and corporate events for over 25 years. Featured in Modern Bride and New York Magazine and voted Best of The Knot, Manhattan Swing’s outstanding groups—ranging from small ensembles to full big bands—have performed at thousands of events. Our capabilities are nearly limitless. We’ve assembled a group of exceptional musicians with remarkably diverse talents ranging from fine jazz to rock to classical music. If you are having a big celebration in the ballroom of a grand hotel, we can enchant your guests with a 22-piece orchestra. If you are giving a sit down dinner and you and your guests would enjoy dining to chamber music that enhances the appetite, we can provide the perfect ambiance. Or perhaps you are hosting a cocktail party, then we can provide a single pianist to entertain your guest with the tunes of Cole Porter, George Gershwin, Duke Ellington, Billy Joel, or the Beatles as conversations flow.
We’re especially proud of our renowned dance band that plays a range of styles from big band swing to Motown to contemporary. For more elegant occasions, we offer a choice of string quartet, woodwind quintet, or a trio with harp and flute.
We have also assembled a variety of specialty bands that will keep your toes tapping—Dixieland, Calypso, Brass Band, Marching Band, 50’s, Soulful Sixties Revue, or any of our first rate vocal groups.
